Raed A. Sulaiman, M.D.
Anatomic and Clinical Pathology - Director of Avera McKennan Laboratory and President of Physicians Laboratory
Dr. Sulaiman received his MD degree from the University of Tishreen in Syria. He did his combined anatomic and clinical pathology residency training at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center of New York (New York Medical College), Rhode Island Hospital (Brown University) and the University of Minnesota. Following his AP/CP residency, he completed a surgical pathology fellowship at the University of Minnesota. He is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. His areas of interest include surgical pathology, gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary pathology, renal and transplant pathology, performance and interpretation of fine needle aspiration cytology, and clinical laboratory medicine and management. Dr. Sulaiman joined Physicians Laboratory in July 1997 and he is the medical director of Avera McKennan Laboratory and president of Physicians Laboratory.
