Head and Neck Pathology
Physicians Laboratory’s board-certified pathologists, including a fellowship trained Endocrine, Head and Neck pathologist, provide comprehensive diagnostic expertise and services relating the pathology of disorders of the head and neck region including the mouth/oral cavity, upper aerodigestive tract and salivary glands. In addition to evaluation by conventional histology, a variety of specialized immunological tests are routinely available. We work closely with our radiological, surgical and oncological colleagues to offer rapid, reliable diagnoses. Complex cases are discussed at a regularly held interdisciplinary tumor board.
